Prior to The Walt Disney Company, I worked in several design leadership positions at Yahoo.
The majority of my tenure at Yahoo was spent as a Director of User Experience Design for Yahoo News and Yahoo Finance.
For several national election cycles, I led teams consisting of in-house designers and agencies to design live election maps and election coverage packages and modules.
Partnered with Yahoo dev teams in Sunnyvale and Taiwan.
Formed deep collaborative relationships with knowledgable editors and producers to design unique news features and storytelling packages against a demanding news cycle.
I led the design effort to overhaul Portfolios and Quotes Pages (a delicate exercise given the very loyal user base).
Partnered cross-functionally to reimagine the visual and editorial tone of Yahoo Finance article pages.
Worked closely with Yahoo Finance product and research teams to improve and enhance the display of key market information
When the iPad launched, there was no native stocks app included. I spearheaded the MarketDash project to address that deficit for the Yahoo Finance audience.
